Twenty passengers suffered minor injuries when a private bus overturned near Makavarapalem in the district on Tuesday.
The accident occurred when the driver of the bus coming from Narsipatnam to Visakhapatnam swerved to avoid a collision with another bus coming in the opposite direction.
The vehicle went off the road and overturned in the paddy fields.
The injured were given first aid at a local hospital and discharged.
