85 batteries stolen in Thokur





Eighty-five batteries valued at Rs. 18,000 meant for railway signals have been stolen from a room at the Jokatte Old Railway Station building in Thokur.


According to the Panambur police, the batteries were stolen between December 1 and 5.


Inquiry sought


Members of Kulur Muhiyuddin Jumma Masjid have sought a high-level inquiry into the murder of Razia and her 8-year-old daughter at Panjimogaru.
