The Federation Cup football tournament, which was shifted out of Assam, will now be held at Siliguri and Ranchi from September 19. The final will be played at Siliguri on Sept. 30.
Dempo SC will take on Pailan Arrows, while Mumbai FC will play Shillong Lajong FC on the opening day.
Dempo SC, Mumbai FC, Pailan Arrows, Shillong Lajong FC are in Group ‘A’, while Group ‘B’ comprises Churchill Brothers, Air India, Mohun Bagan, and Qualifier 1. Sporting Clube de Goa, ONGC FC, East Bengal and Qualifier 2 are in Group ‘C’, while Salgaocar SC, Pune FC, Prayag United, and United Sikkim FC complete Group ‘D’.
The first semifinal will be played between the winners of Group ‘A’ and ‘D’ on Sept. 26, while the second is scheduled on Sept. 27 between the toppers of Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ respectively.
