The Hassan police have arrested two men in connection with alleged gang-rape of a construction worker.
The woman was returning to her native place after work when the two forced her into a four-wheeler and allegedly raped her near Chikkaboovanahalli
near Hassan on Friday night.
The incident was reported to the Dudda police on Saturday evening after she was found in the forests.
The victim named Ningiah, also a construction worker, as the perpetrator. The police arrested him from Koravangala village in Hassan taluk.
